Q: What are StoryDecks?
A: StoryDecks are custom decks of cards, each with 104 cards, which provide the basis of
the Young Writers’ Story Deck Writing Program. Cards are drawn to select the gender,
age, name, job, physical characteristics, and personality traits of the story's hero
and confidant; problems, locations, and props for three problem scenes; and a goal.
Writers follow these guideposts, but provide the all-important details which make each
story unique.
Q: Can I buy the StoryDecks?
A: Not yet. You can click on the "Tell me when it's ready" links on
the
StoryDecks page and register your email address.
We'll notify you when the decks are available for purchase.
How much will the StoryDecks cost?
We're actually not sure yet, but probably somewhere between $5 and $10.
